Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values higher on Choice and lower on Select on light to
moderate demand and offerings. Choice chuck and round cuts steady while Select
weak to lower. Choice rib cuts higher while Select steady. Select and Choice 
loin cuts firm. Beef trimmings mostly sharply higher on good demand and
moderate offerings.
